You do not need a camera, editing software or previous experience to begin. The first path establishes the language and principles used throughout the Academy.

The Academy will publish lessons only after the learning sequence, prerequisites and practical outcomes are established.

What comes first?

  1. Understand what photography, video and filmmaking actually involve.
  2. Learn how light becomes an image.
  3. Understand cameras, lenses and the basic controls.
  4. Learn exposure before memorizing settings.
  5. Practice each concept with realistic situations.
