Disclaimer

The FilmFreebies Creative Academy provides general educational information about photography. Please read this disclaimer before relying on any lesson.

General education, not professional advice

Lessons about copyright, licensing, contracts, privacy, pricing, business, taxes and insurance explain general principles that apply in many places. Laws and rules differ between countries and change over time. Nothing in the Academy is legal, financial, tax or professional advice. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional where you live.

Safety

Lessons that discuss shooting near roads, water, heights, crowds, wildlife, extreme weather, electricity or lighting equipment describe general precautions only. Every situation is different. You are responsible for assessing risks, following local rules and keeping yourself and others safe.

Equipment, brands and technology

Camera features, software and technology change quickly. Where lessons mention brands, models or software, it is to explain a technology or give a recognised example, not to endorse a product. Always check current manufacturer information for your own equipment.

Accuracy

Lessons are researched and checked carefully, as described in our editorial policy, but mistakes can happen. If you notice one, please let us know.
