Refund policy

This policy explains refunds for the paid FilmFreebies Creative Academy membership. All lessons are free; only the membership (exams beyond the free ones, new question sets on retries, grand exams and certificates) is paid.

How the membership is charged

The membership is a one-time payment for the period shown on the membership page (for example 365 days). It does not renew automatically, so you are never charged again unless you choose to buy again. Payments are processed by PayPal (PayPal account or card).

7-day refund

You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of your payment, as long as you have not yet started a members-only exam (any exam other than the free Photography Foundations and Exposure attempts) and no certificate has been issued on your membership.

When a refund is not available

After 7 days, or once you have started a members-only exam or received a certificate, the membership has been used and is not refundable. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Always refunded

• Duplicate payments: if you were charged twice for the same membership by mistake, the extra payment is refunded in full.
• No access: if you paid but your membership could not be activated and we cannot fix it, you get a full refund.

How to ask for a refund

Email info@filmfreebies.com from the email address of your Academy account. Please include the PayPal reference from your receipt (you can find it under My account, Membership and orders). We reply within 2 working days and send approved refunds through PayPal to the original payment method, normally within 5 working days. PayPal or your bank may take a few more days to show it.

When a refund is made, the membership ends and any certificates earned with it may be withdrawn.

Disputes

If something went wrong, please contact us first: most problems are solved quickly by email. Opening a PayPal dispute or card chargeback first can delay the outcome.

We may update this policy. The version shown on this page at the time of your payment applies to that payment.
